Combine 2 level tablespoons (25g) of custard powder and 2 tablespoons of sugar (40g) in a microwave-safe bowl. From 2 cups of milk (500mL) blend approx. 2 tablespoons to make a smooth paste. 2. Gradually add the remaining milk, whisking well until smooth. 3. Place in microwave and cook as per times below, removing and whisking thoroughly after the first 2 minutes. 4. Stir well before serving, taking care as container may be hot.(For thicker custard use 3 tablespoons of custard powder)
