Ripe avocados can be kept for one or two days at room temperature, or two to three days in the fridge.Sliced avocados go brown quickly and should be refrigerated in cling film or an airtight container.Handy tip: To speed up ripening you can place avocados in a brown paper bag with an apple or banana. These fruits contain a natural hormone that causes avocados to ripen faster.Where it's Grown:Avocados grow in clusters on evergreen trees. They are grown in QLD, NSW,VIC, SA and WA.
