This gold medal winner at the 2019 NZ cheese award is an absolute crowd-pleaser on any cheeseboard, for any entertaining occasion. It's sensational with a toasted baguette, strawberries and rose. The name akatea is NZ's white rata vine which has white fluffy flowers resembling the snowy rind on the outside of this cheese that develops while ripening.
