She brought her family recipe for gluten-free Brazilian-style cheese rolls, traditionally known as "po de queijo," to Texas after her granddaughter, Isabel, developed a gluten sensitivity. Friends and family loved grandma's bread and asked her to bring her cheese rolls to birthday parties and wedding receptions.
